Next Arrow is Columbus Archery’s youth development program designed to teach self-confidence, focus, and discipline through the sport of archery. With every arrow released, students develop patience, resilience, and the ability to center themselves, skills that translate to success in school, sports, and life. Every participant learns to set goals, stay present, and aim high for their future.
Archers Ages 12-14
This course focuses on communication skills, building trust within ourselves and our friendships, and deepening self-awareness. This program includes 3 classes a week (over how long?) where our Certified Youth Instructor focuses on tools for building social and emotional readiness, along with their archery skillset.
Upon completion, our young Archers graduate with their Archer Certificate for level 1.
Archers Ages 15-17
This course focuses on self-awareness, calmness tools, and developing leadership skills. This program includes 3 classes a week (over how long?) to build real world life skills.
Upon completion, Level 2 Archers are able to utilize these new skills to mentor the younger archer class.
